Lauderdale, Florida, on Thursday with two goals from Mateo
Retegui.
However, coach Luciano Spalletti said in some things the azzurri
had been "light" and "superficial".
"We have to work on this," he said.
"From the point of view of physical impact we need to put more
into it because in some things we are superficial," added
Spalletti.
Italy will meet Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New
Jersey, in another friendly on Sunday.
