Scott McTominay on Thursday joined
Napoli from Manchester United with the Azzurri paying some 30
million euros for the 27-year-old Scotland midfielder who has
spent all his previous career at Old Trafford.
The tall Scot played 178 times for the Red Devils and scored 19
goals for them since his debut in 2017.
He has 52 Scotland caps and nine goals for his country.
The Azzurri are now said to be seeking Brighton's 23-year-old
Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour as President Aurelio De
Laurentiis is reportedly determined to give coach Antonio Conte
a squad able to compete for top honours again after their 2023
scudetto.
