Italy is backing the latest United
States Gaza ceasefire initiative with Egypt and Qatar, Deputy
Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Friday.
"There is no time to lose," he said on X.
"We strongly support the US President's initiative with the
leaders of Egypt and Qatar to swiftly reach a ceasefire in Gaza
and the liberation of the hostages.
"It is crucial to restore a political prospect of peace and
stability in the Middle East".
