proposed in 2022 to grant candidate status to Bosnia and
Herzegovina," but also "proud of the Bosnia-Herzegovina people,
who deserve a better life within the EU family," said Slovenian
Minister of Foreign Affairs Tanja Fajon on X, commenting on the
European Council's decision to open accession talks with
Sarajevo. Fajon is expected today in Trieste.
