Cabinet to take more decisions on flood emergency at 6 Thur

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 24 - Tomorrow at 6 p.m. there will be "a meeting of the cabinet, which will have to take further decisions on the management of the emergency in the areas hit by the (floods in Emilia-Romagna)", the premier's office said Wednesday, explaining that the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, will return to Rome for this very meeting after flying over the flooded areas of Emilia Romagna with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
    Meawnhile, it was also announced that 10% of the gate receipts for the Italian Cup Final between Fiorentina and Inter Wednesday night will be devolved to the flood zones.
    Lorenzo Casini, president of Lega Serie A, said: "The amount will have to be calculated, but it is a figure of around €300,000." (ANSA).
