(ANSA) - Vatican City, December 17 - Pope Francis marked his 77th birthday on Tuesday by celebrating Mass and eating breakfast with four homeless people often seen near the Vatican. The four were presented to the pope by Msgr. Konrad Krajewski, said the Vatican press office. Earlier, the pope celebrated Mass at St. Martha's House, the guesthouse where Francis lives inside the Vatican, and afterwards, he greeted everyone there individually. During his homily, the pope reminded the faithful that God was always with them. "God never leaves us alone, but always walks with us," the pope said, according to Vatican Radio.
