(see related story) (ANSA) - Cremona, December 17 - A Italian judge had said that a criminal organisation allegedly headed by Singaporean Tan Seet Eng had it sights set on fixing matches at next year's soccer World Cup in Brazil. Tan Seet Eng was recently arrested by the authorities in Singapore and is a suspect in Italian match-fixing investigations. "It seems, (they were working on) a plan of illegal interventions on the World Cup that will take place in Brazil," Cremona preliminary hearings judge Guido Salvini wrote in documents regarding a match-fixing probe in the northern Italian city.
