Napoli won Italian soccer's first
trophy since the outbreak of the coronavirus, beating Juventus
4-2 on penalties in the Italian Cup final on Wednesday after
regulation time ended goalless.
It is Napoli's sixth Coppa Italia triumph.
The Naples team deserved victory, having played better during
regulation time and hitting the post twice.
The game was played behind closed doors at Rome's Stadio
Olimpico because of the COVID-19 emergency.
Some 10.2 million people tuned in to watch the match on state
broadcaster RAI, almost 40% of the TV audience share.
