The suspected leader of a youth gang
that has attacked and robbed peers in the centre of Turin over
the last few months was arrested by police on Wednesday.
The Italo-Moroccan is said to be 20 years old and from the Ivrea
area.
He has been charged with two robberies which could see him
jailed for up to 20 years, police said.
Most of the gang's robberies were carried out in the university
district of the northern Italian city.
The youths, mostly teenagers, allegedly boasted about their
exploits on Instagram.
