ANSA is to take part in an anti-fake news European agency alliance called European Newsroom.
The European Commission-funded project also features AFP, DPA and many other national news agencies.
It will be unveiled at the HQ of the Belga agency in Brussels on Tuesday.
Among those in attendance will be the vice presidents of the European Commission Vera Jourova, responsible for values and transparency, and Margaritis Schinas, responsible for the promotion of the European lifestyle.
Others there will include Italy's permanent representative at NATO, Ambassador Francesco Maria Talò, ANSA Managing Director Stefano De Alessandri, and DPA CEO Peter Kropsh.
De Alessandri said European Newsroom would be a "collaboration between European press agencies to share best practice, improve the quality of news and fight disinformation".
