A 50-year-old woman was crushed to
death in a glass factory near Piacenza in the latest in a long
and shocking spate of fatal workplace accidents in Italy Monday.
The accident happened at Borgonovo, police said.
At around three in the morning the woman reportedly got caught
between a conveyor belt and a pallet-carrying machine, they
said.
She was killed instantly.
An autopsy will be carried out in the coming hours, they said.
