A homeless 22-year-old Egyptian man
was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a
16-year-old girl in a lift on Rome's metro system at the
beginning of last month, police sources said.
The man, who does not have a criminal record, allegedly attacked
the girl at the Centocelle station on Metro LIne C.
The girl told police the man had taken advantage of the crowded
elevator to molest her.
