A survivor of an attack by the former
leftist terrorist groupd the Red Brigades (BR) on Tuesday urged
Justice Minister Carlo Nordio to intervene after the French
supreme court gave a final rejection to Italy's extradition
requests for 10 mostly former BR members who had taken refuge in
France.
"This is a disgrace that has no legal basis," said Roberto Della
Rocca.
"My association and I appeal to Minister Nordio for the Italian
justice system to intervene. And I ask France: what if the same
thing had happened in reverse with the Bataclan victims?"
