The extreme weather that is battering
Italy claimed a victim in the southern city of Reggio Calabria
on Saturday when a man was killed by a tree that was blown over
by powerful winds.
The man was struck by the tree while walking his dog, the
sources said.
The region of Calabria is on orange alert due to the storms that
are hitting Italy, one notch down from the maximum red.
Emilia Romagna is on red alert after this week's deadly floods
that claimed 14 lives.
