Rome is to host an international
conference on migration on July 23, Italian Premier Giorgia
Meloni said on Sunday,
She added that Tunisian President Kais Saied and several other
heads of state or of government of Mediterranean countries are
expected to attend.
"I see it as the beginning of a path that might allow for a
different partnership from the past," said the premier after her
meeting with Saied in the presidential palace of Carthage in
Tunis.
