A Delta Airlines Milan-New York
flight was rerouted to Rome due to bad weather Monday.
The Delta flight Dl 185, departing from Milan Malpensa and bound
for New York JFK was diverted to Fiumicino airport "after
encountering adverse weather conditions after take-off", Delta
said.
The flight landed shortly before 2pm at the Roman airport
"safely and passengers disembarked normally".
"The aircraft sustained some damage during the bad weather which
is being reviewed by our local maintenance team," the US company
said.
