ANSA Agency has added a new international partnership to its portfolio of strategic collaborations following the signing on Tuesday of a new cooperation agreement between the Peruvian news agency Andina and ANSA for the exchange of their respective news content.
The partnership, signed by remote in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Peru Giancarlo Curcio and the Head of the Chancellery of the Peruvian Embassy in Rome Miguel Aleman - consists of the possibility for the partners to use each other's information services for editorial purposes and to develop joint commercial proposals for their clients - media, institutions and companies - in their respective countries.
Ambassador Giancarlo Curcio said: "I welcome with great pleasure the signing of the Agreement between the Italian news agency ANSA and the Peruvian news agency Andina. This agreement will allow a significant and increased flow of information between the two nations, deepening and strengthening existing relations based on a deep and lasting friendship, consolidated by the complementary nature of the two economies and the presence of significant communities of compatriots abroad in the respective countries." For the Head of the Chancellery of the Peruvian Embassy in Rome, Miguel Aleman, "The signing of this agreement between two entities of recognised prestige and objectivity is something to be celebrated: firstly, it will encourage the flow and feedback of truthful news from reliable sources, which will reach citizens immediately through the various platforms that Andina and ANSA have; secondly, the prospects of cooperation in communication projects for Peruvian and Italian clients will contribute to increasing knowledge of the two countries and at the same time bring their private sectors closer together, strengthening the strong economic relations that unite Peru and Italy, especially on the eve of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations in 2024." Andina Director General Carlos Alonzo Vasquez Lazo expressed his satisfaction with the agreement: "The signing of this agreement is of the utmost importance for our agency, as it will allow us to enhance our offer of information, disseminating information and events from Italy to Peru and the Latin American region.
Likewise, ANSA will be able to use our content to share it with the entire Italian and European community. This synergy will bring a great contribution to the field of information, journalism and national events in both countries".
For ANSA CEO Stefano De Alessandri, "This agreement constitutes an important new element in the global network of partnership agreements with agencies around the world, and in particular in a strategic geographical area such as Latin America, where ANSA has been present for 70 years with its own offices and dedicated websites. The aim is to make more and more international news available to our editorial staff and subscribers and, at the same time, to make our content available for distribution in the area; the two Agencies will then share their respective projects and the most successful initiatives in which they have recently invested, in order to pool experiences and results."
