Police used batons in Turin on Tuesday
in clashes with a group of people protesting against Premier
Giorgia Meloni.
The premier is taking part in the Festival delle Regioni
(Festival of Regions) event in the northern city on Tuesday.
"Meloni you are not welcome in Turin," read a banner carried by
some of the protestors.
The clashes broke out when the protestors, numbering about 300,
tried to break through a police cordon
