Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini on Friday stood by his controversial decision to
limit to four hours the general strike called by the CGIL and
UIL trade unions.
"I am proud that 20 million Italians can move around freely
today," League leader Salvini said during a visit to Bari.
"A minority's right to strike cannot impede the majority's right
to (get to) work".
