Italy's antitrust authority on
Thursday opened a probe into Poste Italiane for allegedly not
allowing access to its network to competitors to its PostePay
payment system.
By Italia law, Poste Italiane is supposed to make its offices
and the postal network accessible to competitors of its
subsidiary PostePay, which uses them to market and promote Poste
Energia offers in the electricity retail market.
