Fiorentina boosted their chances of
qualifying for European competition next season, thrashing
Frosinone 5-1 at home on Sunday.
Forward Andrea Belotti set the Florence side on their way with
his first goal since joining them on loan from AS Roma during
the transfer window last month.
Jonathan Ikone, Lucas Martinez, Nicolas Gonzalez and Antonin
Barak also found the net for the home side.
The win provisionally puts Fiorentina in sixth place in Serie A
with 37 points from 23 games, ahead of the rest of the weekend's
fixtures.
Frosinone are 14th with 23 points.
