Reports that Stellantis is set to
quit Italy are fake news, CEO Carlos Tavares told trade unions
in Turin Wednesday.
"There is fake news saying that Stellantis is leaving Italy,"
said the chief of the Italo-Franco-US manufacturer.
"We feel at home here.
"We have no intention of leaving Italy, we are investing
heavily, we have projects, ideas and the capacity to deliver on
our commitments.
"They say we are not interested and the Chinese are being called
for this.
"This is fake news".
