President Sergio Mattarella said
Wednesday the recent EU migrant deal was good and it could bring
order to the issue.
"The new European agreement on asylum and immigration overcomes
Dublin and opens the door to greater cooperation between
European countries" to tackle "a growing phenomenon that can be
governed in an orderly manner and not in a disorganised manner
as is the case today", said the Italian head of State.
Mattarella was speaking in Sofia at the end of a conversation
with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
