Juventus have been ordered to pay
Cristiano Ronaldo around 10 million euros in payback by a league
arbitration panel in relation to wages withheld during the
COVID-19 pandemic.
The panel ruled the Turin giants must pay the football great
9,774,166.66 euros plus interest and costs, about half the
amount he had petitioned for.
Ronaldo played for Juve between 2018 and 2021.
The dispute regarded wages that were not paid in the 2020-21
season following an agreement between players and the club.
Juventus said it was considering an appeal.
