Slovenian two-time Tour de France
winner Tadej Pogacar won Tuesday's snow-shortened stage of the
Giro d'Italia, his fifth stage victory this year, to stretch his
lead in the general classification.
The stage was cut from 206km to 118 due to snow and a rider
protest against extreme weather in the Dolomites.
Pogacar, 25, came in on his own after breaking away from
breakaway partner Giulio Pellizzari of Italy, who came second.
