Firefighters on Sunday recovered the
body of a 38-year-old man who is thought to have died after
being swallowed by quicksand in the Lago di Giacopiane, an
artificial lake in the province of Genoa.
Rescuers started to search the area after Gabriele Zolezzi went
missing on Saturday.
The man lived nearby and knew the lake well.
Signs at the site say "no bathing" and "danger of quicksand".
