Two people, a doctor and a nurse,
have been indicted over the death of a 71-year-old Italian woman
who was allegedly given the wrong blood transfusion in a Turin
clinic in March last year.
The woman was allegedly given a transfusion that was supposed to
go to another patient.
The case was opened after an anaesthetist at the clinic in the
Piedmont capital filed a police report saying they had also been
pressured to bury the incident.
