correspondent in Kyiv accused by the Russian foreign ministry's
spokesperson of "praising Ukrainian neo-Nazis while they pose in
reportages wearing SS symbols" on Monday replied that "I grew up
with a Partisan grandfather, the real kind, who today would have
no doubt in distinguishing between invader and invaded, between
those who resist and those who occupy. I was educated in the
values of the Constitution".
He said he would continue reporting free from external
constraints in his reply to the spokeswoman for the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs in Moscow, Maria Zakharova.
