Villaggio Italia, which is being set
up near the mooring dock of the Vespucci on its main stopovers,
is an innovative and engrossing space that revolves around a
large Piazza Italia characterized by multi-media installations
that welcome visitors, involving them in immersive content.
On the piazza there are also the pavilions and the thematic
areas which permit a voyage to discover our country's treasures
in a unique experience of encountering Italy's soul and beauty.
A wide-ranging line-up curated by top Italian authorities and
examples of excellence offers visitors the opportunity to take
part in conferences, talks, business and institutional meetings,
film showings, concerts, showcooking, immersive exhibitions,
art, sport, technology, design, presentations and obviously,
visits on board the Amerigo Vespucci Training Ship.
The travelling show has, in fact, as its piece de resistance the
Vespucci, a unique and inimitable symbol of our maritime and
cultural heritage which with its majesty will be a perfect
complement to the Villaggio.
During the days in which the Villaggio is open, the large
screens, pavilions and the installation at the centre of the
piazza will transmit a fascinating sequence of images and videos
that capture the essence and the diversity of Italy and its
excellence. The breathtaking landscapes transport the spectators
in a voyage through mountains, coasts and countryside, revealing
the timeless beauty of our lands. From lively piazzas to famous
places, Italian faces appear, offering an intimate glimpse into
the daily life and cultural diversity of our country.
