Napoli beat Bologna 3-0 on Sunday
night in their first Serie A home match, clinching their first
victory under new manager Antonio Conte.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute
Giovanni Simeone scored for the 2023 champions, which wrapped up
the last season in 10th place.
Meanwhile, Che Adams emulated Denis Law with the key goal in
Torino's 2-1 victory over Atalanta on Sunday night, firing up
fans who had called for the Serie A club's owner to sell during
pre-match protests.
His strike, and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic saving Mario Pasalic's
penalty gave Torino four points from their first two matches.
In other results of the day, Roma lost to Empoli 1-2 while
Fiorentina-Venezia ended with a goalless draw on the second
match of the new Serie A season Sunday night.
