Two elderly Italian male mushroom
hunters died in the same mountain range in Abruzzo on Sunday.
An 82-year-old fell from Corropoli (Teramo) fell to his death at
Ceppo on Sunday morning and an 85-year-old from Tortoreto
(Teramo) fell into a gulch near Valle Castellana Sunday
afternoon.
Fellow mushroom hunters who were with the two men could do
nothing for them. The bodies have been given back to the
families.
