A man, Roberto Gleboni, in the Sardinian city of Nuoro killed his wife Giuseppina Massetti and daughter Alice before shooting and injuring his two other children, a neighbour and his elderly mother and then committing suicide, investigative sources said Wednesday.

One of his two children injured during the rampage died later on Wednesday morning at Nuoro's San Francesco Hospital.
The shooting spree allegedly took place first in the man's home, where after a family fight the man shot dead his wife and daughter and inured his two other young children and his landlord.
The man then went to his mother's house and shot her in the head, severely injuring her, before taking his life, according to preliminary investigations.
The wounded are being treated at Nuoro's San Francesco Hospital.

The landlord of the apartment rented by the Gleboni family, Paolo Sanna, is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of the hospital
Carabinieri police are investigating the deadly shooting.
