reached his fifth ATP Masters 1000 semi-final of the season in
Shanghai after beating Daniil Medvedev 6-1 6-4.
After his quarter-final victory against fifth-seeded Medvedev,
the world number one will play against the winner of the
upcoming match between Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Czeck player
Tomas Machac.
