Companies in the agrifood sector from the Calabria and Campania regions are showing how to work as a team at SIAL Paris, the world's main food innovation exhibition, which is held every two years and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
The exhibition runs until October 23.
"We are working as a team, putting together all the energies of these good entrepreneurs who are aiming everything on the brand of our region", said Nicola Caputo, the regional councillor of the Campania region.
"The exhibition is one of the most important events in the agrifood sector, where we are present with some 70 companies.
"At the region's pavilion we have with us some 20 companies from the most different sectors", said Caputo.
"Calabria could not miss SIAL, an internationally relevant event which is probably the most important of Europe's agrifood in 2024", said Gianluca Gallo, the agriculture councillor of the Calabria region, stressing how promotional activities have increased over the past few years.
"With the constant presence at these events - added Gallo - a new framework emerges with many youths and many women with business ventures, who do their homework at home and come here to show their riches, with growing success, because Calabrian export figures have doubled over the past few years, counting in particular on the agrifood sector".
