Argentina forward Paulo Dybala was on
target to earn AS Roma a 1-0 home win over Torino on Thursday
and give some respite to under-fire coach Ivan Juric.
Dybala capitalized on a mix-up in defence to squeeze the ball in
from a tight angle on 20 minutes.
Croatian Juric was called in after Roma sacked club legend
Daniele De Rossi last month but his arrival has not revived the
team's fortunes so far and many fans were demanding his head
following last weekend's 5-1 drubbing at Fiorentina.
Roma are currently 10th with 13 points from 10 games, 12 points
behind leaders Napoli, who beat AC Milan 2-0 at San Siro on
Tuesday.
Fiorentina continued their strong form, beating bottom side
Genoa 1-0 away.
They are fourth with 19 points.
Fifth-placed Lazio also have 19 points thanks to a 5-1 win at
Como on Thursday.
