Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur
has expressed satisfaction that the Italian glamour team is
still in the running for the Formula One constructors' title
going into next week's season-ending Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi
after Sunday's race in Qatar.
Ferrari cut McLaren's lead at the top of the table from 30 to 21
points thanks to Charles Leclerc coming second and Carlos Sainz
finishing sixth in Qatar.
"We are still in the running, anything is possible with a 21
point gap on McLaren," Vasseur said.
"It's nice to get to Abu Dhabi in this position.
"The circuit there should favour us a little more.
"With Verstappen and Mercedes competitive again, the outcome is
unpredictable".
