Italy's annual inflation rate rose to
1.3% in November, up from 0.9% in October, Istat said on Monday.
The national statistics agency had put the inflation rate in
1.4% in November in its preliminary estimate.
It said rise in the inflation rate was primarily driven by of an
acceleration in the prices of regulated energy goods (from +3.9%
to +7.4%)
Istat said its consumer price index was down 0.1% in November in
month-on-month terms.
It said its trolley index of food, household and personal care
items rose from 2.0% to 2.3% in year-on-year terms.
