An Italian nun who allegedly helped
Italy's most powerful mafia, Calabria-born 'Ndrangheta, get
messages in and out of jail was released from house arrest on
Monday.
A Brescia detention review court freed Sister Anna Donelli, who
has for years volunteered at prisons in the Brescia area as well
as at Milan's San Vittore Jail.
She denied the charges of external complicity in mafia
association.
