Verona scored a 3-2 victory late
Monday against hosts Bologna thanks to a late own-goal by
Santiago Castro.
Both teams then proceeded to score before a red card for Tommaso
Pobega and a free kick from Ondrej Duda prompted Castro to
wrong-foot his team's goalkeeper, securing a win for Verona.
Bologna are now seventh in the Serie A standings while Verona
are four points clear of relegation zone.
Meanwhile, in another Serie A match on Monday evening, Como
beat Lecce 2-0, with the Lombard side moving ahead of their
Puglia rivals with 18 points in the standings, also four points
away from the relegation area.
