Senators of the League party led by
Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini on Saturday
told the Upper House's transport commission that he was fixing
Italy following years of blocked investments after huge train
chaos in Milan caused by technical issues had nationwide
repercussions.
"After decades of blocked investments, of NOs, Salvini is fixing
Italy", they said.
"Over 1,200 railway projects, record number of trains and
passengers travelling each day.
"Some people do things, and so they have to solve grave and
inherited problems, and some criticize after failing or standing
still", said the League's senators.
