A 22-year-old man, Alex Pompa, was
acquitted of homicide by Turin's Court of Appeal on Monday after
he stabbed his father to death in 2020 to defend his mother
during a row that was part of a long series of angry quarrels.
The appeal's level trial was repeated after the supreme Court of
Cassation annulled a previous conviction with a prison sentence
of six years, two months and ordered a retrial.
