Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani
reiterated at a press conference at Ashdod in Israel with
Israeli counterpart Gideon S'ar Thursday that the two state
solution to the Middle East crisis is the only solution for the
future of the region.
"It is time to work for the future, there are many ideas but
Italy's position is very clear: we believe in the two-state
solution, at the moment it is impossible for us to recognize a
Palestinian state because it does not exist but we must work for
the future", said Tajani, who is also deputy premier.
