Maurizio Bormolini and Elisa Caffont on Sunday became world champions in the snowboard world championships team parallel, while Gabriel Messner and Jasmin Coratti won silver, marking a triumph for Italy at St.
Moritz.
Italy confirmed its absolute mastery of the parallel with a
historic double in the team event of the World Championships
that kept the tricolor ahead of everyone after the gold won in
2023 by Aaron March and Nadya Ochner.
The season therefore ends in glory for the Italian team that
with the double in St.
Moritz puts a triple exclamation point
thanks to ten victories in the World Cup with Bormolini's
triumphs in the general classification and in the PGS ranking.
A haul that also increased in the world championship that, in
addition to the Italian double, welcomed the return to the world
throne of Fischnaller in the giant and the bronze of Aaron March
in the slalom.
For all four protagonists of today's podium it is the first
world championship medal of their career.
