Only 2% of Italy's listed companies
had women CEOs at the end of 2022 while 4% had women presidents,
stock-market regulator Consob said in a report on Friday.
The proportion of women members of Italian corporate boards of
directors, however, reached a new high of 43%, up from 41% in
2021.
The is thanks to the effects of two-fifths gender quota for
corporate boards passed in 2019.
