Fincantieri's first-quarter EBITDA
was up 16% to 100 million euros, while its revenue was stable at
1,767 million (+0.2%), the shipbuilding giant said Tuesday.
Other Q1 results included: EBIDA margin at 5.7%, (it was 4.9% in
Q1 2023 and 5.2% at the end of 2023); and net financial position
negative at euro 2,413 million (down from euro 2,922 million).
Fincantieri's quarterly report also showed a total workload "at
record levels", as they define it at the group, of 39.3 billion
euros, equal to 5.1 times 2023 revenues, an indicator of "strong
commercial development in all business areas with a soft backlog
of 17.3 billion".
