The Milan stock exchange's FTSE Mib
index shed 2.27% on Monday, closing on 31,293 points amid
worldwide investor jitters about fears the United States could
enter recession and the impact of a possible attack by Iran on
Israel.
It means that another 15 billion euros in capitalization went up
in smoke on Monday, taking the total losses for the last three
sessions up to 55 billion.
