Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti
said Tuesday the European Commission's approval of Italy's
seven-year Strategic Budget Plan (SBP) and Draft Budget Plan
(DBP) had been expected and Rome now needed to proceed with
"sobriety.
"An expected judgment, the result of an economic policy and
choices marked by seriousness," said the minister.
"We will proceed, as we have done so far, silently and soberly".
