Queen Paola of Belgium
suffered a stroke overnight during a visit to Venice, sources
said on Wednesday.
The 81-year-old is not said to be in a life-threatening
condition.
She will taken back to Belgium on a flight later on
Wednesday, the sources said.
Paola is the wife of the former King Albert II and she was
monarch from 1993 until his abdication in 2013 in favour of
their son King Philippe.
