The images of apparent atrocities
allegedly committed by Russian troops in the town of Bucha near
Kyiv represent a "point of no return", Vatican Secretary of
State Cardinal Pietro Parolin said Thursday.
"They are blood-curdling images; the way in which they tormented
the civilian population is inexplicable.
"I really believe, as has been stated by several sides, that
these episodes mark a turning point in this war and I hope make
everyone reflect on the need to put an end to this war."
