Italian DIGOS special security police
on Monday raided the Padua homes and offices of Rome-based
neofascist group CasaPound.
The homes of five of the far right movement's militants were
raided, as well as CasaPound's local HQ, police said.
The raids came after neofascist graffiti appeared on various
buildings in the Veneto city including the political science
faculty, a high school and other central Paduan sites on the
night of October 28, police said.
The persons whose homes were searched, all aged between 20 and
30, have been placed under investigation for apology of Fascism
and aggravated damages, police said.
